Already celebrating 20 years of up to 100 performers through the festival week, Clermont is renown for bringing youth & wizen together let alone the rest of the worlds of music just a little closer together. From champions in their fields through a myriad of instruments and country(s) related styles.
Expected in the “basic” line-up - String Loaded Celtic Family Band, Willy Qua (Galapagos Duck original) on Saxes, Flute & Drums; Robbie Long on Guitars & Drums; Quentin Eyers on Bass, Guitar & Piano, Garry Steel on Piano & Accordion, Jude Iddison on Fiddle, Paddy Montgomery on Mandolin & Guitar, Paul Cooper on Banjo, Pete Fidler on Dobro plus continuing surprises!!
Two shows a night 6 & 9pm (‘cept Friday - only 9pm!!)
6pm is A Mix of all the Nights while 9pm delves deeper into particular instruments - but not only i.e.
first Sat 9pm features hot Fiddle (from solo to big band and one to many fiddlers!) incl. Andy & Lucy Baylor
Sunday 9pm is Ukelele & Mandolin Night - from Orchestras to solo including Mick Conway & Robbie Long!
Monday 9pm is Banjo & Old-timey Music including Paul Cooper SA & Montz Matsumoto (TAS)
Tuesday 9pm is Girls Night - a delight of Ladies plus the lads have quite taken to dressing up too of late!! Plus likely a Turkish Delight re-union!!
Wednesday 9pm Guitar Night - a stunning collection of guitar & song infusement!
Thursday 9pm The Grand Night of Piano/ Accordion/ Harmonica & such with extraordinary singers & orchestra
Friday 9pm is our International feature from Deutschland - Mensch, Monique! - Jule last seen in The Beez & Georg from Germany’s Pink Floyd Band!! And we’ll do an excerpt as well (probable on Guitar night!) plenty extra surprises on the night!
Saturday 6pm is the Bluegrass Champions - Book early!
9pm is the final Supper Club show at the festival - a heck of a party!
